On Thanksgiving, I given a lot of time to reflect on the things that I am thankful for this year. There has been a lot going on and there is a lot more to come in the coming months. I would like to take a moment and say thanks!
The first thing that I am thankful for is my amazing and beautiful wife Alicia. Without her this wouldn’t be possible. She not only puts up with me working tirelessly on this blog, talking about golf, asks me when I am coming to bed, and rolling her eyes at me when I talk about the Red Sox, she is the most amazing mother in the world to our 2 little guys Jackson and Luke.
While I’m at it I need to thank Jackson and Luke too. Being able to see the world through their eyes allows me to reflect a lot on what I am writing. They remind me it is just a game and to have fun. At 4 and 2 they are truly little men and as they get older I will miss their hugs, laughter and even the temper tantrums.
My parents. While my mom doesn’t play golf she is there to keep me in check and remind me who I am and to stay humble. Dad is there to test a product, hold a camera or be the best 2 man scramble partner I could ask for (and sometimes smack me in the back of the head when I need it).
The guys. They know who they are. Bruce, Brian, Cox, Dave, Eddie, Jay, Matt, Mel, Mo and Peter. Thanks for keeping me sane and even telling me when I’m out of line.
Brad, you know that I owe a lot of the success to you for believing in me when I had 97 views the first month of the blog. Also thank you for your advice. You have been a great partner to work with and someone who keeps it real.
The multiple PR professionals that I work closely with. Carole, David, Joe, Vanessa, and many others. Thank you for the constant communication, products and laughs along the way.
The newest team I am now working with the Central Florida Chapter of the NFL Alumni Association. We do have a lot of work a head of us but we are planning an amazing golf tournament and knowing that it is going to benefit the Arnold and Winnie Palmer Hospitals and the community we call home is truly something to be thankful for.
The Strategist, trusting my opinion for gift guides and then getting to see my name on Forbes.com in August was one of the most amazing things that happened this year.
Robert at Smash Factor Golf. Believing in the review process and sending me the best set of clubs on the planet to review. For those of you who have never heard about Smash Factor Golf, you better pay attention to them. Tour quality and an amazing experience!
Last, but definitely not least, you the readers. Without you this blog wouldn’t exist. Thank you for taking the time to trust me and the work that is put into the reviews to help you make the best decision when it comes to your golfing needs.
Dads Say So, I couldn’t leave out the many companies that trust me to give a quality review of their products and know that I am going to give my own opinion. I’m sure as you click on each and every article that I, or any other blog our there, write you get a pit in your stomach about what is going to be on the next page. Thank you for continuing to trust me and I do look forward to working together in the coming years. Happy Thanksgiving to each and every one of you!
