Lucy Yuan (Girls (10-11) attempts a putt during the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals at Augusta National Golf Club, Sunday, April 2, 2017.

One of our hashtags on our social media posts is #growingthegame. Watching The Golf Channel this morning it couldn’t be more evident.

With the USGA, PGA of America and The Masters coming together to put this on to help promote golf and grow the junior game and The Golf Channel broadcasting from Augusta National all of these kids get the opportunity of a lifetime.

It is fun to watch the different tour players who are in the field next week at The Masters come out and spend time saying hello to the participants and their guest, watching the action and interacting with the winners as a past champion gives them their trophy.  Also there were multiple former LPGA Tour Players on hand to take in the action and see the future of the game on display.

Dads Say So that we are looking forward to our children competing in the Drive, Chip and Putt.  This is a great way to help grow the game and it is fun for everyone involved.  The scoring process makes it easy to follow and fun to participate.  Fred Couple talked today about the fact that in a few years one of the kids participating in this will be playing in The Masters.  We think he is right and it will be exciting to watch.  Thank you to all involved in making an amazing event that will continue to grow in stature and #growingthegame!
